This practice aims to commemorate the Winter Solstice. It serves as a ritual on this day that marks the longest nights and shortest days.
Students can aim to do the 108 Salutations to the Sun, which will be guided by the teacher at the beginning of the class, or just do a few repetitions.
By doing Sun Salutations you will activate Life Energy (Prana) and when you feel it is time to finish, you will remain silent. To observe how there is a deep sense of peace, calm and silence, to find a warm and light place, a place of inspiration, even in these dark winter days.
